Frequently Asked Questions

1.  Do I get a proof?

We email proofs on all printed announcements and invitations at no charge. After receipt of your order, we will email you a proof within 2 business days. Your order will not be completed until we receive your approval.   Please carefully check your proof for accuracy.  Although we carefully design each announcement, mistakes can be made in the copy. (by either party)  The proof is the time to catch these errors.  We are not responsible for errors not caught on the proof. 

A proof with the original order information and picture is included with each order.  If you decide you would like to see a proof with a different picture,  there will be a $10 fee for each picture change.   You may make text changes once.  After the second proof of text changes,  there is a $5 charge for each additional proof.

We do NOT automatically send proofs for return address labels and thank you notes.  If you would like a proof of a return address label or thank you note, you will need to specifically request it and there will be a $5 charge.

 

2.  How long does  it take to get my announcements?

After receipt of your order, we will email you a proof within 2 business days. Your order will not be completed until we receive your approval..  We will complete your order within 4 business days of proof approval.  Add shipping time to know when you will receive them.  (Note:  Upgrading your shipping only speeds up your shipping time.  Even if you choose overnight shipping, it will still take up to four business days to complete your order.)

 

3.  Will you edit my photo?  

Yes.  We will touch up, crop, and size your photo to best suit the announcement. 

 

4.  What photos work best?

It is most important to have a clear photo in sharp focus.  Choose light colored clothing with little or no pattern.  A light colored solid background is also desirable. 

Digital cameras work well when the resolution is at least 1200 x 1800 pixels and 300 dpi.  Please set you camera to the fine setting.  Be sure your baby is well lit and use the flash.  Digital video camera photos and cell phone photos do not work well.

Even if you want a black and white photo, we prefer to work from color photos.

Please DO NOT cut your photograph.  If you have a specific way you would like to crop it, take a photocopy of your picture and mail the cut copy with your order along with the original picture.

We will return your print with your order.

 

5.  Can I use a professional photo?

You must send a copyright release with any professional photo.  We can use a professional photo but we must have the copyright release.

 

6.  Is there a minimum amount of cards I must order?

There is a minimum order of 25 cards.  The minimum for a reorder of the same order is 10 cards.

 

7.  Can the card be printed in a different language besides English?

Yes, as long as English characters are used.  You must provide us with a copy of the text via the order form or email. 

 

8.  Do you ship out of the United States?

Yes.  There will be additional shipping charges.  Please email sales@bellababy.com for a shipping quote.  You will be responsible for any duties or taxes incurred.

We will ship to APO addresses via USPS priority mail for $12.

 

9. Are envelopes included?

Yes, envelopes are included with all orders.

 

10.  Can I get my envelopes early?

Yes.  You may preorder your envelopes.  A 20 cents per envelope deposit is required and there is a $6 non refundable shipping fee.  You will be credited 20 cents per announcement ordered when you place your final order.

 

11.  How much will it cost to ship my order.

 

We ship from San Diego, CA via UPS.  You have 4 different shipping options.
